Julian is a well-known executive coach specialising in helping senior executives make quantum leaps in their leadership, significantly increasing self expression and greatly enhancing the value they bring to the organisation. He has nearly 30 years' experience as a personal development expert, is an author, trainer of executive coaches, and the sponsor of a key international professional network for coaches.
He helps leaders develop 3 key attributes of leadership: creating a compelling vision matched by concrete action (visionary leadership); the skills to understand what motivates and influences the people around them, so they engage wholeheartedly (mobilising people); and developing a high level of personal congruence so that people are inspired to follow (personal presence).

Since 1995, he has been the Managing Director of PPD Consulting Ltd, a coaching and development firm for senior executives, which specialises in helping good leaders become great.
Since 1984 he has been helping to bring best practise from around the world into business consulting and pioneered of the application of Neuro Linguistic Programming in UK, first in psychotherapy and later in executive coaching. He teaches internationally and speaks regularly at professional conferences. His clients include major global financial services and banks, the telecommunication sector and public utilities. He likes to achieve fast results with coaching clients so that feel confident in their ability to continue develop and make the most of themselves.

He is co-author with Robert Dilts and Anne Deering of Alpha Leadership- Tools for Business Leaders Who Want More Out of Life, Wiley and Co, 2002 and co-author with Cynthia Indriso of “The business leader as an incurable deviant,” in Gilligan, S.
